A farm is a site project before it is a building project. Our team produced the full site masterplan — how the house sits against the pool, the seating and the approaches — and only then designed the mass itself. Curved lines force early structural coordination, since they are built in purpose-made formwork.

We fixed the masterplan first and derived the mass from it, not the reverse, and reviewed the curves with the structural engineer early so they stayed buildable at a sensible cost.
