English-style private farm

A cottage-style farm: stone walls under a clay-tile roof, a natural-edge pool, timber-shaded seating, an orchard and a barbecue zone — natural materials (stone, timber, clay) throughout.

This style rests on material, not on form: stone, timber and clay. Our role was to control the construction details those materials demand — wall thicknesses, roof pitches, timber fixings — because the style collapses visually if a detail is built wrong.

We zoned the site — house, pool, seating, orchard and barbecue area — then detailed every zone in the same material family, so the site reads as one piece rather than a set of adjacent elements.
